First of its kind, the four-wheel-drive Ferrari FF presents itself with a completely new look at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
This is the first time that Ferrari uses a four-wheel-drive system and to ensure that it will still delivers large amount of torque, Ferrari FF is equipped with Ferrari’s patented 4RM four-wheel-drive system.
Ferrari FF is powered by a 6.3L V12 engine producing 651-hp at 8,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 504 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm. As stated above it uses the 4RM four-wheel-drive system with a 7-speed transaxle dual-clutch F1 gearbox, that allows it to accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 208 mph.
In terms of fuel-economy, the Ferrari FF has a 25% reduction compared to the previous V12s, carrying off a combined 15 mpg. This is achieved through the help of HELE (High Emotions- Low Emissions) System which incorporates Stop&Start technology.
